Baseball Recap: Canyon View Jaguars vs. Willow Canyon Wildcats
While Canyon View's win against Willow Canyon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jaguars had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 6-5 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.
Canyon View got a great performance from Cason Hagerman as he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Hagerman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
