Softball Recap: Graceville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Poplar Springs last Thursday, Graceville came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Geneva County Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 19-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 two weeks ago.

Graceville's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Geneva County, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Graceville will head out to challenge Ponce De Leon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Geneva County, they will be playing at home against Poplar Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Atomics at the right time seeing as the Atomics are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
