Basketball Recap: Chisholm Triumphs

Chisholm won the last time they faced Hibbing and things went their way on Thursday too. The Chisholm Bluestreaks slipped by the Hibbing Bluejackets 53-52. Given the Bluestreaks' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Bluejackets are ranked 371st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Chisholm and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Hibbing, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chisholm will finish 2024 at home by hosting Fond du Lac Ojibwe O at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. Chisholm is facing Fond du Lac Ojibwe O at the right time seeing as Fond du Lac Ojibwe O is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Hibbing, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hinckley-Finlayson at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th.
