West-Oak lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Pendleton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. West-Oak never let Pendleton get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.
Abi Blackwell made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.
In other batting news, West-Oak got a big performance out of Allie Keith, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Kylie Perkins was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
West-Oak's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Pendleton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West-Oak will venture away from home to square off against Walhalla at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West-Oak is facing Walhalla at the right time seeing as Walhalla is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pendleton, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crescent at 6:00 p.m. on April 8.
