Pine View is 9-1 against Hurricane since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will take on the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Pine View and seven for Hurricane.

Friday just wasn't the day for Pine View's offense. They came up short against Cedar on Friday, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Hurricane managed to keep up with Desert Hills until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 4-0 to the Thunder. While losing is never fun, Hurricane can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Desert Hills are ranked 13th).

Hurricane's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pine View, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Pine View skirted past Hurricane 2-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
