Volleyball Game Preview: Tidewater Academy Warriors vs. Banner Christian Bearcats

The Tidewater Academy Warriors will face off against the Banner Christian Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tidewater Academy has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 23.

On Tuesday, Tidewater Academy came up short against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12.

The losing side was boosted by Peyton Johnson, who had six aces and four digs.

Meanwhile, Banner Christian came up short against Kenston Forest on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Banner Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Kenston Forest's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-10, 25-13.

Tidewater Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Banner Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Everything went Tidewater Academy's way against Banner Christian in their previous meeting back in September, as Tidewater Academy made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
