The Southern Fulton Indians and the Clarion Area Bobcats squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Southern Fulton Indians had to settle for second. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 75-50 walloping at the hands of the Bobcats.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Mellott, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gaven Mellott, who scored 13 points.
Southern Fulton's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Clarion Area, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
