Basketball Recap: Groveton's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak at Home

Groveton's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Leggett Pirates as they made off with a 58-38 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Indians' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Groveton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kutter Mynter, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 17 points and three steals. The Indians are 2-1 when Mynter posts three or more steals, but 0-4 otherwise. Ramelo Wolfe also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Groveton was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They are 2-1 when they've passed the ball that well.
