Volleyball Game Preview: Livonia Bulldogs vs. Monroe Red Jackets

Livonia is a perfect 4-0 against Monroe since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will host the Red Jackets at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Livonia has three straight wins, Monroe has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

While Livonia's victory against Aquinas Institute wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Little Irish 3-2.

Meanwhile, Monroe lost 3-0 to School of the Arts on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Red Jackets seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Livonia's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Livonia took their victory against Monroe when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Red Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
