After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deer Park, Pullman was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Rogers Pirates with a sharp 22-3 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Greyhounds needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Ady Sanford made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Taylor Cromie was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Dahmen, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.

Pullman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .644. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Pullman's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rogers, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Pullman will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pirates: the pair will be back at it again later today.
