After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deer Park, Pullman was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Rogers Pirates with a sharp 22-3 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Greyhounds needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
Ady Sanford made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
