It's playoff time, and Munster had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Hammond Central Wolves 49-47. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marcus Browder, who shot 67% from the field on his way to 24 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. Browder is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 27 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Gregory Dotson, who went 7-for-9 en route to 15 points and eight assists.

Munster's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Hammond Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.

Looking ahead, Munster will take on Lake Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Munster will be up against Lake Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.19 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Hammond Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
