Baseball Recap: O'Fallon Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact O'Fallon can now relate to. They fell just short of the Normal Community Ironmen by a score of 10-8 on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Panthers, who until this game were averaging 3.91 runs allowed.

Camden Cox was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Dane Hrasky also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

With the loss, O'Fallon broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-11. As for Normal Community, the win (which was their 21st in a row) raised their record to 35-4.
