Soccer Recap: Monsignor Pace Comes Up Short

After flying high against Archbishop Carroll last Friday, Monsignor Pace came back down to earth. The Monsignor Pace Spartans lost 8-0 to the Gulliver Prep Raiders on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Raiders are ranked 78th).

Monsignor Pace's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Gulliver Prep, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5-2.

As of now, neither Monsignor Pace nor Gulliver Prep have any future games scheduled.
