Football Recap: DuPont Comes Up Short

DuPont extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They were dealt a 52-0 loss at the hands of the Delcastle Technical Cougars. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2016.

As for Delcastle Technical, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Delcastle Technical was led to victory by Rahmeir Berry and Nahri Felder. Berry gained 103 total yards and three touchdowns, while Felder threw for 118 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Looking ahead, DuPont is taking a road trip to challenge Concord at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Raiders' defense has only allowed three points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Delcastle Technical, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newark at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
