Recap: South Columbus Stallions vs. Pender Patriots
The South Columbus Stallions entered their tilt with the Pender Patriots with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. South Columbus skirted past the Patriots 53-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as South Columbus also won the last time the pair played on January 3rd.
Pender lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jordan Hansley, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Ryan Howell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
South Columbus has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Pender, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
South Columbus will take on the Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pender, they will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
