Basketball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Brookwood Warriors

Thomasville hasn't had much luck against Brookwood recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Warriors at 8:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Thomasville is leaving town to face Brookwood after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 54-53 to Colquitt County.

Despite the defeat, Thomasville got top-tier performance from Monte Colvin, who shot 50% from the field en route to 24 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Thomas, who posted six points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Brookwood entered their game against Crossroad Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors fell just short of the Scorpions by a score of 50-47.

Thomasville couldn't quite get it done against Brookwood in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 53-46. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
