Basketball Recap: Hannibal Comes Up Short

Hannibal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Cato-Meridian Blue Devils 81-32. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hannibal's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cato-Meridian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-4.

Hannibal has already played their next game, a 52-37 defeat against Solvay on the 17th. As for Cato-Meridian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-48 victory against Port Byron on the 17th.
