The New Community School extends road losing streak to four

The New Community School Sabers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 72-31 loss at the hands of Grove Christian School. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points The New Community School has scored all season.
Jacob Garrison continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Grove Christian School, scoring 33 points along with five assists and five steals. Garrison has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Merrick Baron, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
The New Community School bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Grove Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
The New Community School will be playing in front of their home fans against Banner Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Grove Christian School, they will head out on the road to square off against Stuart Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
