Baseball Recap: Princeton Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Seven must be Princeton's lucky number: they beat Grundy County with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Tigers didn't even let the Panthers on the board, marking the Tigers' second-straight 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Princeton and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Princeton has already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Newtown-Harris on the 26th. As for Grundy County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Putnam County at 5:00 p.m. on the 7th.
