Jariel Cobb Delivers Best Effort of Season

Jariel Cobb produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Reidsville to the win on Friday. Cobb rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles.

Walkertown's probably not too fond of Cobb given he always seems to get the better of them. Cobb rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Wolfpack duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kelly Made His Presence Known in Walkertown's 41-26 Defeat

Cam Kelly's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his eighth-straight game with 103+ rushing yards. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

Walkertown's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. Kelly's next match is against McMichael on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

North Forsyth was led to victory by Amare Mitchell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Mitchell rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 94 yards and two touchdowns.

North Forsyth's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. Mitchell and North Forsyth will challenge Morehead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
