Mooreville won against Caledonia on Thursday with 70 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Troopers blew past the Walnut Wildcats 70-36. Fans of the Troopers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Walnut's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Wilbanks, who posted 24 points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Luster, who earned six points along with eight boards and four steals.

The victory keeps Mooreville at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 72.0 points this season. As for Walnut, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Mooreville will face off against Ripley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walnut, they will welcome Byhalia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
