Soccer Recap: St. Michael's vs. Robertson        
        
		
             After losing to Robertson the last time they met, St. Michael decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The St. Michael's Horsemen narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Robertson Cardinals  2-1.  Ezra Shaffer had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Horsemen.
 Something new happened  on Tuesday as  Shaffer saw his first action of the season, playing 60 minutes against Robertson. Shaffer made the most of the opportunity,  scoring two goals. A few more games like that and  he might be seeing even more time going forward.
 The  victory was  the fourth in a row for St. Michael's, bringing their record for this year to 7-8. As for Robertson, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-1 record  this season.
 St. Michael's will host Santa Fe Prep  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. St. Michael's last three  matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Robertson, they will head out to  square off against Academy for Technology and The Classics  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
