Basketball Recap: Johnson County Sports Association's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Johnson County Sports Association can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past the Stephenville FAITH Knights with points to spare, taking the game 53-36. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 38-13 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Johnson County Sports Association's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liyone Johnson, who posted seven points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Lantrip, who put up ten points and seven rebounds.
