Basketball Recap: Proctor Comes Up Short

Proctor lost against Barnum back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Proctor Rails came up short against the Barnum Bombers, falling 67-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rails have suffered against the Bombers since December 22, 2014.

Proctor has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Barnum, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Coming up, Proctor will square off against Pine City at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Barnum, they will take on Cook County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cook County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Barnum likes a good challenge.
