Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Olympia). They blew past the Cornerstone Christian Cyclones 16-0 on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Spartans with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Olympia and bumps their season record up to 5-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Olympia has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against St. Joseph-Ogden on the 14th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will head out to take on LeRoy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Cyclones' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
