Downers Grove North never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Hinsdale Central Red Devils 11-0. Considering the Trojans' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Jenna Gordon made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mia Havrilla, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Ella Morrell was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
