River Valley has gone 7-2 against Wickenburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dust Devils will be playing at home against the Wranglers at 7:00 p.m. Wickenburg took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on River Valley, who comes in off a win.

If River Valley beats Wickenburg with 56 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Dust Devils beat Kingman on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 56-6. The result was nothing new for the Dust Devils, who have now won three matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Wickenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Odyssey Institute, falling 30-9. On the bright side, the nine- point effort marked the Wranglers' highest-scoring contest to date.

The win got River Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Wickenburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

River Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Wickenburg in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 15-8. Will the Dust Devils repeat their success, or do the Wranglers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
