Volleyball Recap: Thompson Tommies vs. Grafton Spoilers
Thompson suffered their biggest defeat since September 5th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Grafton Spoilers. The shutout was out of character for the Tommies seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.
While Thompson was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-20.
Thompson's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5-1. As for Grafton, they pushed their record up to 23-4-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Thompson will square off against Northern Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northern Cass will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Thompson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grafton, they will face off against Langdon/Edmore/Munich at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
