Softball Recap: Indian Springs Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Bernardino, Indian Springs was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pacific Pirates by a score of 13-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 28-13 back in March.

Brandizabella Hernandez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nataly Pardo, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.

Indian Springs' win bumped their record up to 5-13-1. As for Pacific, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Indian Springs will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pirates: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
