Basketball Recap: Buffalo Beats Century for Their Third Straight Win

Buffalo won against Sartell-St. Stephen last Friday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Buffalo Bison walked away with a 50-41 win over the Century Panthers. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Panthers are ranked 292nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Buffalo's third in a row) raised their record to 8-4. As for Century, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Buffalo won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Spring Lake Park at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Century, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Robbinsdale Armstrong at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
