Porter Ridge has gone a perfect 10-0 against Piedmont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Porter Ridge's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Porter Ridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: Charlotte Catholic, who was ranked second at the time (Porter Ridge was ranked 19th). The Pirates never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. That's two games straight that Porter Ridge have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sammy Tello, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Piedmont lost 4-1 to Cuthbertson on Wednesday.

Porter Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That lines up perfectly with their 15-3-2 record this season. As for Piedmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-4.

Porter Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Piedmont in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
