Softball Recap: Chrisman Comes Up Short

The matchup between Chrisman and Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Cardinals lost 17-2 to the Blue Devils. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Taylor Jones made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Chrisman's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Looking ahead, Chrisman will head out to challenge Iroquois West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, they will face off against Lexington at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
