The Berry Wildcats will face off against the Phillips Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berry is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Berry easily dispatched Vina on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Berry fell just short of Curry by a score of 9-7 on Monday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

John Wesley Scarbrough was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Lake Norris, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Phillips was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-4 to Brilliant.
