Basketball Recap: Midlakes Takes a Loss

Midlakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders, falling 69-19. The matchup marked the Screaming Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Midlakes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Palmyra-Macedon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midlakes will challenge Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palmyra-Macedon, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Early College at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Palmyra-Macedon is facing Early College at the right time seeing as Early College is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
