Basketball Recap: Georgetown Takes a Loss

Georgetown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bethel-Tate Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the G-Men this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-56 back in January.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Bethel-Tate, they pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Georgetown has already played their next match, an 85-57 win against Blanchester on the 1st. Bethel-Tate has also already played their next contest (against Norwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
