Soccer Recap: Willow Canyon Has No Trouble Against Copper Canyon

Willow Canyon kept a clean sheet against Copper Canyon on Friday. Everything went their way against the Copper Canyon Aztecs as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Considering the Wildcats' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Copper Canyon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brynn Kelly (2), Emma Miller, and Dalayla Thompson.

The win got Willow Canyon back to even at 5-5-1. As for Copper Canyon, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willow Canyon will welcome Notre Dame Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame Prep will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Willow Canyon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Copper Canyon, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Independence at 6:00 p.m.
