Clinton came back down to earth on Friday after soaring to a 28-point contest in their last game. They fell just short of the Red Springs Red Devils by a score of 36-34. Clinton's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Red Springs, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

As for Red Springs, they will head out to square off against Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
