If Strawberry Crest beats Sickles with ten runs on Saturday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Strawberry Crest came out on top against Armwood by a score of 10-7 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.
Chase Conti was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nico Cappucci, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Reuben Vasquez was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Sickles entered their tilt with Lennard on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Longhorns 16-5. Considering the Gryphons have won three games by more than ten runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Braden Ross and Charlie Martz did most of the damage at the plate: Ross scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Martz scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jordan Yost, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Sickles picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Strawberry Crest, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Strawberry Crest hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Sickles struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Strawberry Crest might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Sickles in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Strawberry Crest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
