Camden Montes was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Statts, who scored 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why East Dayton Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bradyn King. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Spring Valley Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for East Dayton Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Spring Valley Academy will be playing at home against Cincinnati Landmark at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Dayton Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Bradford at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
