Wakulla Christian School hasn't had much luck against Maclay recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saints are taking a road trip to face off against the Marauders at 6:00 p.m. Wakulla Christian School is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
Wakulla Christian School had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt FAMU DRS on Tuesday. The Saints were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Baby Rattlers.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Wakulla Christian School was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13, 25-8.

Wakulla Christian School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Barber, who had 11 aces. Those 11 aces gave Barber a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eme Guyer, who had nine assists and four aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Wakulla Christian School was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Maclay came up short against Lincoln on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Marauders have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Maclay took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-17.
Wakulla Christian School's record now sits at 13-5. As for Maclay, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Wakulla Christian School couldn't quite get it done against Maclay in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
