Volleyball Recap: Bourne Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Bourne dropped to 13-3 on Monday, ending the team's 11-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Case Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The Canalmen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

When it comes to explaining why Bourne lost, don't look at Avery Morrill. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs and two aces. Morrill is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

As for Case, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted against Bourne since September 15, 2021.

Madisyn Mendonca was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.
