Football Recap: Rosepine Comes Up Short at Home Against Westlake + How To Watch

Rosepine unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Westlake Rams on Thursday. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Westlake got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyton Kile out in front who picked up 83 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 68 yards.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch Another rusher making a difference was Braylon Garrick, who rushed for 61 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosepine will face off against Grand Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westlake, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against LaGrange at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
