Newark Catholic put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Jefferson Roughriders.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Newark Catholic was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.

Newark Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Christiana Scarsella, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Scarsella has posted since back in September. Jahni Whitney also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Newark Catholic was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.

Newark Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 22-0. As for West Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-12.

Newark Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Tree of Life Christian on the 23rd. West Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
