Volleyball Preview: Triad Knights vs. Waterloo Bulldogs
Triad hasn't had much luck against Waterloo recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Triad Knights will challenge the Waterloo Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Triad earned a 2-0 win over Jersey. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Triad never let Jersey on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17.
Triad can attribute much of their success to Grace Parker, who had eight digs and four kills, and Heidi Boehning, who had five digs, two kills, and two kills.
Meanwhile, Waterloo beat Marquette Catholic 2-0 on Saturday.
