Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Central walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 41-0 victory over Elwood. North Central's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hayle Howard and Breanna Hampton. Howard's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked her fourth straight game with at least 125 receiving yards. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win was the third in a row for North Central, bringing their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average over those games. As for Elwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

North Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-6 win against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on the 11th. Elwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
