Southern Guilford unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Western Guilford Hornets at home by a 18-0 margin on Monday.

Southern Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Western Guilford, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 22-6 defeat against Southwest Guilford on the 13th.
