Soccer Game Preview: Weiss vs. McCallum

The Weiss Wolves will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the McCallum Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Weiss fell victim to Marble Falls and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The loss put an end to Weiss' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, McCallum came up short against Manor on Friday and fell 4-2. The loss put an end to McCallum's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Weiss fell to 2-1-1. As for McCallum, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Weiss skirted past McCallum 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Will Wolves repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
