Volleyball Game Preview: Wausa Vikings vs. West Holt Huskies

The Wausa Vikings will venture away from home to challenge the West Holt Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Wausa came up short against Niobrara/Verdigre and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 20-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, West Holt unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Elkhorn Valley. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered since September 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 12-8. As for Wausa, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Wausa suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to West Holt when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
