Abilene Christian extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Fellowship Academy. They walked away with a 38-31 win over the Fellowship Academy Mustangs. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 880th, while the Mustangs are ranked 307th).

Fellowship Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rhyia Ray, who posted eight points and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Avery Ross, who scored eight points and six steals.

Abilene Christian moved to 6-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Fellowship Academy, they moved to 26-3 with that loss, which also ended their 14-game winning streak.

Abilene Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-39 defeat against Live Oak Classical on the 27th. Fellowship Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
