Volleyball Recap: Calvary Baptist Starts Season with Win at Home

Calvary Baptist took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bayview Christian Seahawks. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Calvary Baptist walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 20-25, 25-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Bayview Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Calvary Baptist will face off against rival Granite Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bayview Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Woodlawn Baptist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
